1st Stage “Sowing”:
This stage begins from the middle of April every year. Loofah is a climbing plant, and so farmers make brambles of wood in order to let loofah plants climb them.

 
       
       
2nd Stage “Collecting”:
At this stage, farmers start to crop loofah plants at the beginning of September till the end of January (cropping season).
  
 
       

 

    

 

3rd Stage “Sinking”:
At this stage, farmers put loofah plants in big tubs which are full of water, and that happens for 3 days in summer and 7 days in winter or autumn, as water help in completing the maturing process (Formulation of loofah fabric).

  
   
       
       
4th Stage “Slotting”:
Specialized Handlers make a little cutting process through the top of loofah to down, in order to transform the cone shape of loofa into a flatter shape.
       

 

      
5th Stage “Whitening & Eluterating”:
Here in this stage, workers put loofah plants into Water in order to make it white and clean.
       
       

6th Stage “Manufacturing Process”:
This is the most important and critical process is how loofah is manufactured, this process contains some major steps:
 
A- Cauterization:
Loofah goes through a special machine in order to make loofah more flat with a little thickness, in order to format it in the next step.
     
 
B- Forms:
Here, loofah goes through a special electric scissors for shaping loofah forms (Rounded, Palm, Glove, Wallet, Back… etc.), and then loofah becomes ready for the next step.
 

 

C- Preparing:
Here, Trained workers prepare cotton raw textures, sponges, and textiles for every piece of loofah. In this stage we apply strict quality control procedures and double checks to exclude any defective or insufficient quality pieces of loofah.

 
     
 
D- Sewing & Finishing:
Loofah goes through some different sewing machines, in order to drive loofah to the final step, also in this step quality staff is concerned with cutting loofah the pluses such as (threads).
     
 

 

E- Controlling & Packing:
Here, quality staff makes another checking process to loofah pieces in order to remove any defective piece of loofah, and then packing workers make packages according to the customer agreement.

F- Packing & Binding
Here we make package according to the customer requirement which agreed in the order.
